Barolo Vignane

Barolo Docg

The classicism on native vines is our leitmotif and this wine best expresses our company philosophy. An extremely honest Barolo that does not respond to the dictates of artificiality but rather of the rigorous and no-frills simplicity that characterizes the great old-style Barolos.
The Vignane cru, in the Municipality of Barolo, is positioned mirror-image to the Cannubi and is characterized by a clayey limestone soil. Its good exposure combined with the age of the plant, over 40 years of age, give this Barolo qualities of extraordinary elegance and majesty at the same time, which make it capable of extraordinary evolutions over the years.

Barolo Boiolo

Barolo Docg

A cru to which we are particularly lied.
2019 first vintage, after long and exciting renovation work of the plant, green manure and use of organic agronomic practices aimed at improving the quality of the soil and promoting its biodiversity. The privileged position on La Morra hill and the mixed soil composition of clay and sand, distinguish this special cru.
Mature vineyard, whose seniority, combined with the enviable exposure, gives a fruit with a strong power, able to give life to a Barolo great and refined together.

Barolo

Barolo Docg

Blending of grapes from the vineyard in La Morra, Boiolo hamlet (destined to become a cru), and vineyard in Barolo, Zuncai, mirroring the Cannubi. The assembly of grapes from vineyards with completely different soils, sandy the first, clayey-calcareous the second, helps to create a unique and extremely singular Barolo. The vinification is traditional and classic, with the use of large barrels, which facilitate its keeping over time. Small and selected production, tailoring the vinification and also the attention to detail on the finished product.

Cursalet

Dogliani Docg

Vineyard of more than 85 years. South-west exposure in Farigliano. Calcareous clayey soil. A sweet drink with a good drink but at the same time characterized by great structure and complexity. Its maximum typicality is preserved and enhanced by the fact that any type of contact with wood is absolutely banned, which ensures its absolute expressiveness and identity.

Langhe Nebbiolo

Langhe Nebbiolo Doc

Relatively recent vineyards in Farigliano, adjacent to old Dolcetto plants, deliberately planted at a lower altitude than Dolcetto, since Nebbiolo is a notoriously more sensitive vine and in need of a more protected and sheltered environment from strong winds. A classic Nebbiolo, characterized by elegant fruity and floral notes, with an intense hint of violet on the finish. Important tannins but at the same time fine and elegant, which lend themselves to superlative evolutions.

Maestra

Dogliani Docg

A simple but never banal Dolcetto, characterized by freshness but also and above all by a good tannin and a great structure, which make it persistent and rich in the mouth: the alcoholic notes are well balanced by a marked acidity. The result is a balanced and harmonious wine, suitable for any occasion.

Le Avanguardie • L'Innovazione

Fiore di Harys

Langhe Rosso Doc

It is a powerful Langhe Rosso, characterized by a good consistency in taste attributable to the assembly of the individual wines, when they have reached full maturity. An added value is given to it by those kegs that do not pass the selection to become Harys and Il Merlò. A rich, round and expressive wine, soft and structured, velvety and pleasant tannins, on the finish the residual sugar remains and releases fullness and fleshiness, the same sensation that is found when you taste a ripe red fruit in alcohol.

Harys

Langhe Rosso Doc

Father of all Piedmont’s Syrahs. A syrah endowed with both power and elegance. Finesse given by the altitude (500 m, on the hills of Farigliano) and by the marly-calcareous soil, rich in minerality, which gives this wine qualities of maximum longevity. It has been able to carve out a role of great prestige among the best Italian wines. The specular resemblance to the Côtes du Rhône for latitude, distance from the Alps and the benefit of the river at the foot of the hill for the temperature range, make Harys a fine and elegant wine just like the great Hermitage, Cornas, Côte-Rôtie and Saint Joseph. Far from the texture and fleshiness of Syrahs originating in warmer climates. The same label has always been offered in a different color every year.

Il Merlò

Langhe Rosso Doc

This wine does not come out every year. By choice we decide to produce it exclusively in the best vintages, which prove most favorable to this type of vine. The vintages that do not pass the selection will make up, in greater percentage, the Fiore di Harys, or will be chosen for the creation of personalized labels. Merlot is our roundest and sunniest wine, immediate, rich and pleasant. It does not hide in its texture a nice smooth and enveloping tannin that facilitates its drinking and that reminds us how the Langa soil is unmistakable to mark all its wines.
